Product categories will help you keep your products organized on your POS.
To create a new category, do the following:
- Sign in to your IndicaOnline POS account, tap the Menu button in the upper left corner to bring up the left-hand side panel, hit the Inventory drop-down and select the Product Categories tab;
- Tap the product icon that will later appear on your POS when fulfilling an order;
- Fill out the Subcategory Name field, leave the Parent field empty to create the main category; or select a parent from the drop-down list, if you want to create a subcategory. Choose the tile color and click Save to apply the changes.
Subcategories can be viewed under the parent category. Once the category/subcategory has been created, you can Delete or Update it. Keep in mind, that you can only delete product categories when there are no products in them. System categories cannot be deleted.
