Before you can complete a transaction, you will need to add a patient to your database. You can import patients or create new ones.
To create a new patient profile, do the following:
- Log in to your IndicaOnline account, click Patients in the top left-hand corner and then press the +Add Patient tab.
- On the New Patient screen fill out the Main Information details screen. Remember to insert the information into the First/Last Name, Gender, Date of Birth, and Patient Type fields, otherwise, you will not be able to create a profile.
- You can separate your patients into several patient groups which can be used for applicable discounts as well as marketing purposes. Simply click inside the Patient Group field and select one or several predefined groups you want to assign the patient to;
- Fill out the Contact Information details screen and click the Create Profile button to apply the changes.
If you are using an ID swiper, you can swipe the patient's ID and, depending on it, most of the information will populate into the form.
Your Patient Profile has been successfully created. You can now add Bonus Points, Recommendations, Notes, look into the patient's History etc.
