Metrc packages can only be finished if they have 0 (zero) remaining quantity available, and there is no quantity variance between IndicaOnline and Metrc.

How to Zero Out Variance
IndicaOnline Web App
To zero out variance on IndicaOnline Web App, do the following:
1) Go to Inventory -> Checked In Packages.
2) Select the Metrc package you need.
3) Click the Zero Out Variance button in the Qty Information section of the selected Metrc package page.
- If Qty in Metrc > Qty in IndicaOnline or Qty in Metrc < Qty in IndicaOnline, then the Metrc variance will be fixed and this event would not be posted into Metrc.
A record with an operation will be created in package and product history, and the following notification will be displayed at the top of the Metrc package page. - If Qty in Metrc = Qty in IndicaOnline, then the Metrc variance will not be fixed, and the following notification will be displayed at the top of the Metrc package page.
- If Qty in Metrc has negative Qty, then the Metrc variance will not be fixed, and the following notification will be displayed at the top of the Metrc package page.
- If Product Net Weight has a remainder after it was divided by Zero Out Variance, then it will not be fixed, and the following notification will be displayed at the top of the Metrc package page.
New Operation Records
When you conduct the Zero Out Variance, and it is fixed, a new operation is created in both the Product History tab and Package History tab.
To view the operation on the Package History tab, go to Inventory -> Checked In Packages, and select the Metrc package you need.
On the same Metrc package page scroll further down. There you will find the Package History tab with the recorded operation of variance equalization.
To view the operation on the Product History tab, select the Metrc product, and navigate to the History tab. There you will find the recorded operation of variance equalization.
POS
To zero out variance on POS, do the following:
1) Go to Inventory -> Checked In Packages.
2) Select the required Metrc Package.
3) Click the Zero Out Variance button in the Qty Info section of the selected Metrc package page.

- If Qty in Metrc > Qty in IndicaOnline or Qty in Metrc < Qty in IndicaOnline, then the Metrc variance will be fixed and this event would not be posted into Metrc.
A record with an operation will be created in package and product history, and the following notification will be displayed at the top of the Metrc package page. - If Qty in Metrc = Qty in IndicaOnline, then the Metrc variance will not be fixed, and the following notification will be displayed at the top of the Metrc package page.
