Duplicate Product

Staff members with Edit Product permission can also create duplicates of selected products. It is a useful and time-saving functionality that creates a full copy of the product, so you do not have to manually fill all information when creating a product that is very similar to the existing one. You just have to duplicate the existing product, similar to the one you would like to create, and then make small changes.

How to Duplicate Products

To duplicate a product, do the following:

1) Go to Inventory -> Product List.

2) Then select a product that you want to duplicate, and:

• either click the Duplicate Product button on the right side of the chosen product;
  
  
• or select the product, and on the product's page click Actions -> Duplicate Product.
  
  

Now the New Product page will open, and all fields and settings will be the same as with the original product, with the exception of the Product Name — it will be filled in the format "Copy of <your original product's name>.
