Here at IndicaOnline we understand how important it is to know which referral source is working out and which simply isn't cutting it. IndicaOnline has a great feature that allows you to create specific categories for all your marketing campaigns and keep track of all your traffic in one place.
So when you ask your patients how they found your dispensary, you can track that information via your referrals.
First lets create a category for our referrals:
(A category allows you to section your marketing campaigns. i.e. WEB: leafly, weedmaps, google search. SOCIAL MEDIA: Facebook, Instagram, Yelp)
**please note that the following steps must be done from the desktop**

: We already have a few categories listed. For this example we will be creating a category for a particular event called 4-20-2017
Once you click the add button a new window will open and here is where you create a name for the category.
Once the category is created we can create a listing for that specific category. My example is for a particular event. Perhaps I advertised via paper, Facebook and Instagram for my 420-2017 event and would like to track it.
A new window will pop up. Fill in the information you would like to add. See below for my example.
I will be creating a Facebook marketing campaign for my 420 event. As you can see on the screenshot above, there is a Facebook referral created already however, the category is set for social media. I want to view how many people will see my 420-2017 add on FB in particular (You can be specific on your add and say "when your budtender asks who referred you tell them fb2017 so you know which referral to pick) **Please note that this is one way of doing it. You may tailor your referrals to your needs.
Now that we have our Category and Referral created the receptionist can now see the option to track patients that saw our 420-2017 add.
To check the status of your referrals simply do so by clicking the referral list.
