For your staff members to access POS registers, a PIN code of 4 digits must be created and assigned to them.
You must be an administrator or have appropriate permissions to make such changes.
To set up PINs, do the following:
- Log in to your IndicaOnline account, go to Config on the bottom left-hand side of the screen and click the Staff tab to bring up the list of all your employees;
- Select the user you want to assign a PIN to and click the Clock In & Register tab on their profile;
- Fill out the User PIN field, re-enter the code in the Confirm User PIN field below. Here you can also change the Autocheckout Time and Hourly Rate fields. Click Save to confirm the updated information.
The system will not let you save the changes if you used letters or tried to create a code longer than 4 digits.
As Admin you can change or set a PIN code for your own account. Simply click your name in the upper right corner and then My profile. Repeat the actions described above.
