The Dispatcher Mode allows the dispatcher to prepare and assign orders that come in over the phone or via the website directly to drivers on the road. To activate it on your iPad, navigate to Menu > Settings > Inventory and under "Order Settings" toggle the "Dispatcher Mode" switch to the right.
You can also activate this feature on your computer by navigating to Config > Settings > POS Settings Inventory and checking the "Enable Dispatcher mode" option.
With the Dispatcher Mode activated you may enable a helpful setting called "Open Patient List after PIN" which will get you straight to the patient list instead of the patient queue as soon as you log in. To do it on the iPad, navigate to Menu > Settings > Patients and toggle the "Open Patient List after PIN" switch to the right.
In addition, you can use the "Dispatch orders based on delivery zones" setting thatOnce enabled, the system will automatically detect the delivery zone based on the address of the customer and the location of the hub or office.
On the IPad, go to Settings and click on the "Inventory" tab and move the switcher to the right to activate this setting.
The following options will become available after activating the Dispatcher Mode:
Select the office
The office which the iPad is assigned to is selected by default. The available quantity of the product will be transferred from the office you have selected.
If there is not enough quantity of the product in the selected office, you will get a message:
Select the shipping method

Note: After you have created the order, you will not be able to change the shipping method in the order profile (Order Profile > Edit Delivery Info).
Select the driver
Here you can pick up one of the drivers assigned to the office you have selected to deliver the order. "None" is selected by default.
You can process an order in the Dispatcher Mode in two ways:
1. From "Patient List" select your patient and then click "Add order". You will be redirected to the first step of creating a delivery order.
2. Click on "Start Walk-in Visit" at the bottom of the screen.
Then add a patient to create a delivery order.
After adding the product to the cart you can proceed with the order information.
Note: To be able to see the "Start Walk-In Visit" button you will need to navigate to Menu > Settings > Patients and toggle the "Enable Walk-in Visit" switch to the right.
