The daily sales reports begin with an accurate recording of sales. IndicaOnline enables you to utilize the Sales By Day Report as a key tracking element to control cash, measure cost vs. sales performance, and forecast future sales.
To configure the Sales by Day report, do the following:
- Log in to your IndicaOnline account, go to Statistics on the bottom left-hand side and click the Reports tab to bring up the reports page.
- Click the Sales tab in the top right and then the Sales by Day button below to the left to configure the report.
- Use the filters to set the search criteria and click the Search button.
- Click the Menu button on the right-hand side of the diagram to select either to print or download the chart;
- Scroll down to view the whole statistics in numbers.
The Sales By Day Report breakdown includes:
Total Orders |
Total number of orders within the date range

Average Daily Sale |
Average amount (including shipping) spent per each order in a day |
Gross Receipts |
Total sales including all taxes collected and delivery fee |
Gross Sales |
Total sales minus taxes and delivery fee |
Gross Refunds |
Total refunds excluding all taxes collected and delivery fee. The date of the refund is recorded in the report. |
Net Sales |
Gross Sales minus Gross Refunds |
Unpaid Balance |
Sum of unpaid orders and unpaid part of partially paid orders |
Discount Presets |
The total amount for all discount presets |
Custom Item Discounts | The total amount of the discount created manually for each item separately |
Custom Cart Discounts |
The total amount of the discount created manually based on the cart total |
Mark as Free | The total cost pertaining to all "Mark as Free" items sold (cost of goods at their original acquisition) |
Store/Potify Credit Used | The number of store and Potify (if applicable) credits used on orders associated with the account |
