To be able to sell products using IndicaOnline, you have to check in the product quantity first.
The process will be different depending on whether you are in a regulated market with Metrc or a non-regulated market. This manual will cover product check ins for IndicaOnline with Metrc.
To be able to check in marijuana products using IndicaOnline you have to accept the incoming transfer manifests in Metrc. Once you accepted those manifests, follow the steps below to add the product quantity:
1. Navigate to Pending Packages under Inventory section
2. Click 'Synchronize' to update the list of all incoming transfers
This action will update the list of Pending Packages with the latest Metrc accepted incoming transfers.
3. Select a package that you want to check in and click 'Check In' button
4. Confirm the information and click continue to check product in.
IndicaOnline will pull all the information from Metrc so you won't need to enter anything manually. The first time you do a check in for a new product you'll have to create a new product profile. The next time you check in an existing product, IndicaOnline will automatically fill in information from the transfer manifest in Metrc such as the product name, vendor, quantity, package id, and other information.
Incoming packages vs accepted packages:
In IndicaOnline you can track all packages that you've already accepted as well as everything that is pending.
Under Pending Packages you will find all products that were accepted in Metrc but have not been checked in yet.
If you'd like to view packages that have already been accepted, click on Packages. If you find that one of the accepted packages is missing some information or that it needs to be edited, click edit next to one of the accepted packages
