Fulfillment statuses allow your employees and customers to be notified about progress on orders. Orders will go from Unfulfilled, to Processing, to Fulfilled when the order is ready for pick up or ready to be assigned to delivery driver. Every time the fulfillment status changes, the customers and the employees will be notified via a push notification, an email or sms message.
You are able to track the fulfillment status of every order by going to the Inventory-->Orders
All orders will have 3 fulfillment statuses
This status is used for delivery and pick up orders. As soon as the order is saved, the status of the order is unfulfilled.
This status is assigned to the orders that have started the fulfillment. It indicates that the order is being prepared to be assigned to the driver or to be picked up.
The order will be fulfilled as soon as the products are in the bag, and the order is either ready to be picked up by customer or assigned to the delivery driver.
Note: the fulfillment status will not prevent you from being able to assign the order to the driver or to check out the pick up order. Fulfillments are optional and will not limit any functionality available for orders.
The fulfillment process can start either through the back office or on the POS. When you are using the web browser you can navigate to Inventory-->Orders.
Next to the order the will be an action button to Start Fulfillment:

Once the fulfillment process has started, the order will have two additional action buttons, to Mark as Fulfilled and to Stop Fulfilling
As soon as the order is ready, it will be Marked as Fulfilled and the fulfillment indicator will turn green.
New filters are available for orders to sort out unfulfilled, processing or fulfilled. You can use and sort orders either through the back office or on the POS.
Fulfillment in Potify:
Patients are being notified when the pick up orders are fulfilled. As soon the status is changed from Processing to Fulfilled the customer will receive a push notification that the order is ready to be picked up.
