Companies that are registered in Saskatchewan, Canada, should be given the opportunity to upload a special State Compliance report.
IndicaOnline is considering the regulations companies are subject to and determining whether or not they are achieving compliance through the processes and controls the state has put in place.
Due to the compliance and inventory packaging requirements for MMJ products, each prepackage of a certain category will have its own Product Type. For proper reporting for Saskatchewan, changes have been implemented for each Product type and the Transfer to Another Product management.
Getting started with the creation of a new product means you have to make sure that each Product Type is created and reported correctly. To enter a product manually, once you have clicked Add New Product button (see how to get there below) you will need to follow our guidelines.
For Seeds and Plants please follow these steps:
1. Navigate to "Add New Product" under "Inventory" section;
2. Check-in your MMJ product by entering the Product Name;
3. Create a Symbol;
4. Enter the SKU number (optional);
5. Pick your MMJ Product Category, Strain, and the Product type (seeds or plants);
6. Then select either of two tabs: Per Unit or Per Unit Range and enter a Price;
7. Then toggle "Each Only" switch to "Yes" to report this product in Units;
8. Once the product input fields have been filled, click on the "Save" button;
For Dried and Fresh Cannabis please follow these steps:
1. Navigate to "Add New Product" under "Inventory" section;
2. Check in your MMJ product by entering the Product Name;
3. Create a Symbol;
4. Enter the SKU number (optional);
5. Pick your MMJ Product Category, Strain, and the Product Type (Dried or Fresh Cannabis);
6. Select a unit of measurement as Weight/Weight Range, or Unit/Unit Range and set a Price;
7. If this product is in Unit, or Unit Range, enter the Net Weight and set it on g to report your MMJ product in kilograms;
8. Once the Product input fields have been filled, click on the "Save" button.
For Oil (non-concentrate) category please follow these steps:
1. Navigate to "Add New Product" under "Inventory" section;
2. Check-in your MMJ product by entering the Product Name;
3. Create a Symbol;
4. Enter the SKU number (optional);
5. Pick your MMJ Product Category, Strain, and the Product type (Oil (non-concentrate));
6. Select a unit of measurement as Per Unit or Per Unit Range and set a Price;
7. Enter the Net Weight and set it on ml to report your MMJ product in liters;
9. Once the Product input fields have been filled, click on the "Save" button.
When you click on the "Save" button, the warning dialog box will pop up asking you "Do you really want to create a new product? Once this action is completed, you will not be able to edit the original product content in the "Add New Product" section".
After creating a product, any changes for this product will be disabled.
Correctly structured reports created by companies in order to comply with rules, standards, laws, and regulations set by regulatory bodies and government agencies can set your business up for success.
In addition to your product management, you would have to add Retail Permittee File Specifications (number of staff members) to your reports manually.
Note: Soon this required action will be automated.
