Pre-roll Changes:
We would like to take a moment to advise you of upcoming changes in our functionality. You need to prepare your inventory to use new workflows with pre-rolls due to pre-roll changes. These changes will allow creating pre-rolls within the product profile with a weight limit of 0.5 g.
For your convenience, the "transfer to another product" functionality between weight products and unit weight products will be available to create pre-rolls that differ from the weight of 0.5 g.
Due to the above changes, we suggest selling off all current quantities of pre-rolls to avoid any inventory errors.
If the pre-rolls remain as weight products in the system, those pre-rolls will automatically be calculated as 0.5 g.
In IndicaOnline you will sell all pre-rolls as a unit product. Depending on your state you might be able to have pre-rolls as a separate unit product or the pre-rolls will be part of a specific strain. Only products set as the weight can have a strain-specific pre-rolls.
If you have the pre-rolls as a separate unit product, you will select the package, which the pre-rolls are part of and print IndicaOnline barcodes for each associated package. You can also select an appropriate Metrc package at the point of sale. Reporting to Metrc can be done in grams or in pieces depending on your state.
SELLING PRE ROLLS:
1. Go to "Inventory" → "Product List" → Click on the name of the product;
2. This will bring up the Product Profile menu where you can distribute and adjust product quantity, create pre-packages, create pre-rolls;
If you wish to set a different weight for your pre-rolls, you would have to create a new unit-weight product.
Attention: Any inventory changes in your Metrc account must not happen under any circumstances. Indica will not reflect any inventory adjustments that happened in Metrc, thus will not bear responsibility for any discrepancies issues encountered.
