The diversity of IndicaOnline POS lets patients buy their favorite 'treats' not only by visiting stores to make a pick-up order, but also by ordering a delivery without leaving the comforts of their own home.
The Delivery feature is available for the patients with created profiles only.
There are two ways a delivery address can be added to the patient profile: in the profile itself and while creating a delivery order.
1. To add a delivery address in the patient profile, do the following:
- Sign in to your IndicaOnline POS account, tap the Menu button in the upper left corner to bring up the left-hand side panel and then tap the Patients+ tab;
- Search for the patient either by scrolling down through the patients' names,
or entering the name into the Search by Patient Name field on the left-hand side of the screen;
- Select the patient you want to add the delivery address to, and on their profile page tap the area with the patient's name (their icon, name or the rightwards arrow);
- Tap the Delivery Address tab at the bottom of the left-hand side of the screen and then tap the Add button at the upper right corner to add the address;
Remember to fill out ALL the fields to be able to add the address.
- Fill out the Address field with the patient's address;
It is essential to enter the house or building number first to make sure the order is delivered to the correct delivery address.
- Fill out the City, State, Zip field. When you start entering the information in the field, the system will suggest the location options to choose from;
- Fill out the Phone field and tap the Add button in the upper right corner to add the address;
If you try to add the existing address, the system will show the following error message:
A patient may have several delivery addresses that you can Edit or Delete any time you want.
Tapping the Delete button will bring up a confirmation pop-up window, where you have to confirm or cancel the action.
2. To add a delivery address while creating a delivery order, do the following:
- Take the patient's order and tap the Save button to bring up the Order Information
- Tap the +Add Address button to add a new delivery address;
If you want to assign the existing address to the order, start entering the house or building number in the Delivery Address field.
Remember to enter the complete number in order to select the address.
- Pick the Delivery Time and create a Note, if necessary. Tap Next to continue creating the order;
- Select the Shipping Method and the Courier Register, and tap the Save button to complete creating the order.
Tap Menu ⇒ Orders to view your pending order. Tap the highlighted order to proceed with the order fulfillment.
