To be able to sell products using IndicaOnline, you have to check in the package with the product quantity first. This manual will cover marijuana products check-ins for IndicaOnline accounts integrated with Metrc.
There are two options in IndicaOnline to check in inventory:
- via the Manifest detail page where all your packages are organized by Manifest #, so it is easier to match with the invoice provided by the vendor
- via the Pending Packages menu which will allow you to see each package individually and provide an option to split your packages
To check in a package via the manifest detail page:
1. Navigate to Inventory - Manifests and click 'Synchronize' to update the list of your incoming manifests.
Each manifest shows the vendor, facility, and number of packages it contains, the date the package was received and the package status.
2. Click on the corresponding Manifest number to get to its detail page.
The page will break down all of the packages within the manifest.
3. Click “Check In” to check in the pending package.
This will automatically connect the Metrc tag to the product profile for the specified quantity of this product in the package.
You will be presented with a pop-up:
4. Choose the product name from the dropdown to check the package into and you will get the next pop-up window.
Fill out the fields with necessary information and press the Continue button.
To check in a product via the Pending Packages menu:
1. Navigate to Inventory - Pending Packages and click 'Synchronize' to update the list of your pending packages.
2. Select the package that you want to check in and click 'Check In' button.
This will automatically connect the Metrc tag to the product profile for the specified quantity of this product in the package.
This will bring up a pop-up:
3. Choose the product name from the dropdown to check the package into and you will get the next pop-up window.
Fill out the fields with necessary information and press the Continue button.
Once a package has been checked in, you can find it under Inventory - Checked in Packages.
If the package has not had an item sold, you will see an option to “Unlink” it.
Unlinking the package will disconnect it from the product profile and allow you to redo the check-in.
