Ordering Package Tags

Package tags are designed specifically for transfers. The tag is perforated and has two sections showing identical barcode information. Cannabis producers are required to order and use tags to track all packages. Tags are essential and you cannot operate Metrc without them.

Metrc requires 1 tag per package in your inventory. If the package was not accepted through Metrc, you will be required to attach a tag to it.

Tags are needed for your existing inventory and should be purchased ASAP. 

We recommend that you place your initial order for the maximum you are allowed in your state (in California it is 500). Once your tags have been received, you can place another order. Only the admin user can purchase tags from a Metrc account.
