Now, in your OMMA Monthly Report you have two additional sections:
- The amount of medical marijuana transported to other licensed businesses
- The amount of medical marijuana transported from other licensed businesses
This article will explain how MMJ products are accounted for in each of these sections to comply with the latest OMMA requirements.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please make sure to fill out the Medical State License field in the office profile.
I. The amount of marijuana transported to other licensed locations during this reporting month:
This section will include sales weight (lbs) and count (units) of MMJ products. The MMJ product will be accounted for under this section in the report only:
• if it was transferred out from one office to another MMJ product in another office, and both offices had different Medical state license numbers specified in their profiles;
• if it was transferred out from one office to another, and both offices had different Medical state license numbers specified in their profiles.
NOTE:
The MMJ product will NOT be accounted for in the report:
- if it was transferred out from one office to another MMJ product in another office, and both offices had the same Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred out from one office to another MMJ product in another office, and both offices did not have the Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred out from one office to another MMJ product in another office, and one of these offices did not have the Medical state license number specified in its profile;
- if it was transferred out from one office to another MMJ product in a storage or vice versa;
- if it was transferred out from one office to another office, and both of them had the same Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred out from one office to another office, and both of them did not have the Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred out from one office to another office, one of which did not have the Medical state license number specified in its profile;
- if it was transferred out from an office to a storage or from a storage to an office.
II. The amount of marijuana transported to your business during this reporting month:
This section will include sales weight (lbs) and count (units) of MMJ products. The MMJ product will be accounted for under this section in the report only:
• if it was checked in under Dispensary as a vendor type;
• if it was transferred in to one office from another MMJ product in another office, and both offices had different Medical state license numbers specified in their profiles;
• if it was transferred in to one office from another office, and both offices had different Medical state license numbers specified in their profiles.
NOTE:
The MMJ product will NOT be accounted for in the report:
- if it was transferred in to one office from another MMJ product in another office, and both offices had the same Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred in to one office from another MMJ product in another office, and both offices did not have the Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred in to one office from another MMJ product in another office, and one of these offices did not have the Medical state license number specified in its profile;
- if it was transferred in to one office from another MMJ product in a storage or vice versa;
- if it was transferred in to one office from another office, and both of them had the same Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred in to one office from another office, and both of them did not have the Medical state license number specified in their profiles;
- if it was transferred in to one office from another office, one of which did not have the Medical state license number specified in its profile;
- if it was transferred in to an office from a storage or from a storage to an office.
Now let us illustrate this with three examples.
You have two offices (Office 1 and Office 2), and they have different Medical state license numbers.
EXAMPLE 1:
During the reporting period you checked in 25 items of Product A under Dispensary vendor to Office 1.
Your compliance report will show:
0 items in “The amount of marijuana transported to other licensed locations during this reporting month” section
25 items in “The amount of marijuana transported to your business during this reporting month” section
EXAMPLE 2:
You had 25 items of Product A in your Office 1 and 0 items of the same product in your Office 2. During the reporting period you transferred 10 items of the product from Office 1 to Office 2.
Your compliance report will show:
10 items in “The amount of marijuana transported to other licensed locations during this reporting month” section
10 items in “The amount of marijuana transported to your business during this reporting month” section
EXAMPLE 3:
You had 25 items of Product A in your Office 1 and 0 items of the same product in your Office 2. During the reporting period you transferred 10 items of Product A from Office 1 to Product B in Office 2.
Your compliance report will show:
10 items in “The amount of marijuana transported to other licensed locations during this reporting month” section
10 items in “The amount of marijuana transported to your business during this reporting month” section
